Job Description

ACCOUNT MANAGER ? BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE ? FRANKFURT-RTE1843/MM

This role is based within close commuting distance of the Rhein / Main office and will cover the territory panning from Stuttgart to Koblenz. Selling the full portfolio of Business Intelligence and Performance Management software solutions, the role will be focusing on selling to clients in the mid to upper mid market with circa ?100M in revenues.

Typically, the role will be negotiating and dealing with the CFO, Financial Analysts and treasury control departments.

The target for this role is yet to be confirmed but it?s anticipated that you?ll deal with average order values of between ?50K to ?100K for the software on it?s own.

It?s worth noting at this stage that they are aiming to increase this over the next couple of years. Sales cycles can last anywhere from 8 weeks to 9 months depending on the size and complexity of the deal.

Throughout the role you?ll benefit from full support such as a great marketing department, lead generation and well qualified leads meaning that the sales people never have to make a cold call. You will also benefit from full product training and a full company induction when you start with the company.

The most important thing is that you have a proven track record of selling Business Intelligence of Performance Management software in a new business capacity.

It?s also important that you have enough of a technical understanding of the BI software to handle the first 20 minutes of a technical demonstration. However, there would be product specialists that would get involved when it comes to demonstrating to technical points of contact.

You must be someone that has strong social skills, is reliable and can deliver what you promise.

Whilst they are looking for a hunter rather than farmer, they aren?t looking for an aggressive, knock down doors type of new business professional.

They want someone that can be a trusted advisor and can understand the business issues that the client is faced with and able to relate to them.
