Feeding America charity leaves BlackBerry for Windows Phone

Feeding America, the nations leading domestic hunger-relief charity, has dumped the BlackBerry in favor of Windows Phone. We've heard of companies leaving BlackBerry for the iPhone, but this move is one of the first publicized migrations to Windows Phone. Obviously, Microsoft is spreading the news.

The move to Windows Phone strengthens Feeding Americas capabilities as it complements the organizations use of other Microsoft solutions including Microsoft Office 2010 and Microsoft Lync Server 2010.

Windows Phone provides a level of integration with Microsoft Exchange Server 2010, Microsoft SharePoint Server 2007 and Lync Server 2010 that are not available with the iPhone, iPad or Android, said Kevin Lutz, vice president of Technology at Feeding America.
